In the third quarter of 2024, the music and audio app landscape in Portugal showcased diverse performance trends across the top 5 apps, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts maintained a consistent presence with weekly revenue starting at approximately $13.8K, peaking at $19K by mid-September. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 16.3K in early September, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 2.6M throughout the quarter.

Music Player & MP3 - DDMusic experienced a steady increase in downloads, beginning at 3.6K and reaching 6.9K in early September. Active users mirrored this growth, rising from 14.2K to a peak of 19.4K in mid-September.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts saw modest weekly revenue, with notable peaks at $74 in mid-August. Downloads remained consistent, around 5.5K to 6.3K, while active users showed a gradual decline from 353K to approximately 326K by the end of September.
